Q: Do I have to pay to work with Maxxlocal?
A: No, there are no startup fees.
Q: What kind of position is this?
A: This is a sales position, you will be cold calling and or emailing small businesses all over the country.
Q: Do I have to supply my own telephone?
A: Yes, you will need to choose a phone provider to take and make business calls. Some people choose to use their home phone or cell phone for this, we recommend having a separate line however it is not mandatory. We do have auto dialers available for a cost if that is something you are interested in.
Q: Are there any required hours?
A: No, you can work any hours that fits in your schedule. Obviously you shouldn’t call small businesses outside business hours. We have found that the best hours to call in any time zone is 10am-7pm Monday-Friday. There are some industries that can be called on weekends.
Q: Is this hourly or Commission?
A: This is a commission based pay structure. You will be paid a commission on each sale you make.
Q: Is this W-2 or 1099 income?
A: this is 1099 income, you are not an employee of Maxxlocal, you are considered an Independent Contractor.
Q: How fast do I get paid?
A: We pay the same day the sale is made directly into your PayPal account.
Q: Can I get paid any other way than PayPal?
A: No, currently we do not support any other payment method for our at home sales team other than PayPal.
Q: How is the residual commission paid?
A: Once you accumulate $7500 in monthly active clients you will start receiving residual commission on that book of business. Residual checks are paid once a month on the 5th of the month for the previous month.
Q: What products am I offering to small businesses?
A: You will be offering mostly Search Engine Placement, and Website design.
